To describe my personal work, you would start with abstract but expanding on that you might attach the word evocotive...
I was born in 'The Atomic Age' spending my seminal & formative years in the 1950's & 60's which has left a wealth of visual archeology for my subconscious to interpret. I'm aware of these subliminal influences from my early years but try to avoid any deep self-analysis or sharp focus, instead, prefering to keep an open-mind and tap into the atmospherebio created via colour, shape, texture and form ~ In much the same way as taste or smell can evoke strong emotive feelings, I am led by imagery.
