| The Fascination of Colours | Since early childhood a deep connection to nature has always been a major part of my life. So has its Beauty and Magic forever influenced my art and life.
Born in Germany and grown up in Bavaria, my choice to work as a professional with horses, took me to different countries in Europe. Switzerland, Ireland and Austria were the countries where I lived altogether for 20 years. About 25 years ago
I returned to Germany where I am living now up in the North of it.
During that time I also took up painting, trying out different mediums. For some years now I have been concentrating fully on painting with oil colours on canvas.
Travelling many times to the Southwest of the USA and recently also to Canada – the scenery often was just awesome. How will I ever be able to convey this outstanding beauty on canvas – never really. Okay the fascination and the passion of it remains and I keep going.
