Born in 1945 in Strasbourg (France), Ernest Hiltenbrand studied classical music and mastered in stained-glass art. In the early stages he worked as a stained-glass maker, afterwards he dedicated many years to the Symphony Orchestra of Winterthur (Switzerland), where he played the french Horn.
Today, he is a fulltime Painter and Music Composer. His main artwork is in oil on canvas, mostly large size. A lot of his paintings are located in national and international private art collections. E. Hiltenbrand regularly goes puplic with exhibitions
His work is also represented in the gallery Artleasing in Vaduz (Liechtenstein) and the gallery Staecker in Bischofszell (Switzerland).
