My work is an intimate study of the human form through figure drawing. Dynamic strong female and male forms are drawn with an eye for strength and beauty, sexually neutral figures captured in contorted poses. The web site is an attempt to express the joys of drawing and the life long search for truth.
A Love Story

The special feel of a 6b graphite pencil in my hand, the rich dark silky mark that it makes when pressed onto the smooth white surface of my sheet of paper
I call that ecstasy.
To control the marks using pressure from the fingers on my right hand.
Watching an image appear, it’s like magic.
Now I have control, I rub it over with a soft cloth, pushing the image down, now the drawing is gray and dull.
The time has come to find the light. I take a soft but firm, clean and shaped eraser, I remove some of the dull shadows, revealing light and the drawing comes alive, takes form appears to move on the surface of the paper. Just a few final touches with my 6b pencil and the image is complete.
The final image may only be an illusion. But the feeling when creating it is very real indeed.

Drawing Is My Dancing

Almost all the drawing that I do is dance related, my model is a dancer.
It is her strength agility and versatility that inspires my work
I always use the same model and I draw her continuously
the surface space which contain the sketch, dictates the composition and proportions of the final image. I often include a sphere to balance the image and also create a sense of depth and motion.
My drawings represent movement through dancing in infinite space.
Each drawing I do is a continuation of the last, in an endless cycle representing fragments of a single work of art, which is continuously growing and expanding. Through the computer and people from all over the world buying these little drawings, I believe I am creating the biggest work of art in the world.
