Scotti G is known for his love for the outdoors and the beauty of mans creative architecture. Add to this his appreciation for the beauty revealed at the setting of the sun and you have three key elements for Fine Art! The impact of the beauty experienced while growing up in Germany and his subsequent journeys around the United States, China and other locations around the globe have given Scotti G a wealth of beautiful moments that inspired him to want to share those moments with others. He spent 17 years as a studio and broadcast cameraman and sound engineer in TV and nearly 30 years honing his skills in still photography. His desire is to capture moments of time and beauty for others to enjoy. Scotti G is a purist in many respects as he prefers to continue to use film. Even though he has entered the digital age, he still loves the unique effects achieved through film. The two images above are actual images and are not manufactured via editing software. On the left is 'En Color Pastel de Noche' (Pastels by Night). This is a restaurant on the San Antonio River and the beauty of it inspires many. The image on the right is called 'An Enchanted Evening' This lone tree sits upon a massive granite dome called 'Enchanted Rock', which is located in the Texas Hill Country. The image was taken around midnight under a full moon. Words can't express the joy he receives when images like this come alive.

Over the last 7-8 years Scotti G has experimented with different mediums by which to present this fine art. Photographic paper is a wonderful medium to display his captivating images, but technology has enabled him to bring even greater warmth to his images by printing on Somerset Velvet (watercolor) paper. So too, he has found that many of his treasured images are even more appealing when presented on Canvas. If you visit Texas and San Antonio, you will find Scotti G's images are hanging in many public places such as the Texas State Capitol, San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau and San Antonio Plaza Marriott Hotel. You can also find many of his images displayed at Artistic Endeavors in the Historic La Villita across from Hemisfair Plaza.

Scotti G's website is about to undergo a major renovation. He will soon add many new images to his on-line collection. He will also expand some existing series such as 'Digital Expressions.Scotti G will share for the first time images from his 2008 month-long stay in China.
