Farben die sich im fantasievollen Ausdruck der Gesichter wie Blüten öffnen und Magie verströmen. Licht und Schatten, Augen und Finger untermalen ein Fantasiegebilde von Sehnsucht, Gegenwart und Zukunft.

Was für ein schönes, spannendes Porträt, welches mir spontan eine Geschichte erzählt: Die junge Schöne erinnert sich, bzw. träumt, wie sie bei Vollmond einem alten gütigen Mann in feierlicher Robe begegnet, der ihr etwas Wichtiges für ihr Leben verkündet...

So ein schönes poetisches Werk, liebe Ulla!
Auf den Flügeln der Fantasie lässt sich so gut Kapriolen schlagen, ein Miteinander-Tanz Deiner wunderbaren Wesen aus dem Weltraum und der Erdenmenschen. Eine heitere und auch hoffnungsvolle Arbeit, wunderbar erzählt!

incredibly captured spirit of this force of nature, more like an orchestra coming alive then a malicious entity

Es ist eine ganz intime Stimmung und eine Vertrautheit zwischen ihnen unter Deinem "Deckmantel".
Es bedarf keiner Worte, es ist ein Verstehen, dass sie beieinander sein lässt - in guten und in schlechten Zeiten.

Bei diesem Bild bekomme ich Herzklopfen, liebe Ulla! Ich glaube , dass ist das sinnliche Miteinander der Liebenden unter dem Sternenumhang, ihr schmerzlich-lustvolles Miteinander. Eine mich bewegende Geschichte, die du auf Leinwand für alle Ewigkeiten gebannt hast. Klasse!

barriers combines the darkest aspects of real life events. (refugees behind the barbed wire fence) and emotional strife. The cage, in a prior work of yours formerly occupied by two birds is now empty. The former occupants are either ghosts of their former vital selves or burdened by the empty cage. Barbed wire fences separate the former companions. The motion conveyed by the intricate pattern of the coat is a sign of constant changing moves of time.Your most intimate and expressive painting yet. A raw and untamed reflection which goes right under the skin.

Auch ich entdecke ganz viel Wehmut in deinem eindrucksvollen Bild, es zieht mir ein wenig das Herz zusammen angesichts des leeren Käfigs. Einsamkeit, ein schweres Leben, viele Menschen - nicht nur Alte - haben in unserer Gesellschaft damit zu kämpfen.
Du führst uns die nicht immer schöne Wirklichkeit vor Augen , erzählst aus dem Leben, rüttelst

Vielleicht der einzige Halt - ein Vogel, ein Begleiter. Jedoch in einem Käfig. Der Mantel, den sie trägt ist schwer vom Leid, Wind und Wetter trotzend, erzählt er Geschichten der Suche, Sehnsucht und des Wunsches nach einer Bleibe, nach Wärme.
Was für eine wundervolle Arbeit, liebe Ulla. Immer wieder bringst Du auf DEINE ART Themen an, die berühren, nachdenklich stimmen und uns zu Achtsamkeit aufrufen.

Not all is what it seems...
At first we imagine to see an English hunting scene....yet on second inspection we are surprised to find the all female company engaged in anything but heated and passionate hunting, Incredibly intricate play of shapes, shadows and colors, masterfully crafted.
