I spent most of my professional life as an opera singer performing major roles in many Euopean opera houses. The empty canvas has replaced the empty stage as a place in which to express my emotions and passions. Painting is all a question of melody, harmony and rhythm, so it isn't a big jump from that big stage to the smaller one - just one small step!

I've been painting since 2000. I started with figurative works but started painting abstracts about 4 years ago. Many of my abstract paintings evolve as surreal representations of animals in anabstractenvironment. Others are entirely non-representational. Most of my figurative paintings are of flowers.
